Robyn Mackenzie, aka the Mistress of Messes, is a multimedia artist, writer, and musician hailing from Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 2012, her short story, "Costumes," won 2nd place in the Fiction Category of the University of New Mexico's Lena Todd Awards
From 2008-2012 she played with local country band Southwest Wind, and from there has gone on to collaborate with many other musicians from around the globe. Her debut album, "Of Dreams and Dust," was released in 2010. Later, she ventured into electronica and pop with her EP, "Fluorescent," which was released in September 2016. , and in 2015, the song, "Choose Love," co-written with Anne-Marie Lax, won a Posi EmPower Music Award for Best Video.
